87 Cases Of Dengue Registered In Assam

In Assam, 87 cases of dengue have been registered so far. State Health Secretary J Balaji said that half of the cases have been reported from the Guwahati city.

However, no death has been reported so far due to dengue.

The Assam government has instructed district health officials to take appropriate measures to prevent the disease. Fogging is being done at vulnerable areas. Health department has also begun awareness drive to prevent dengue.
