BJP Leader Slams Shahrukh For Comments On Intolerance

A day after making a comment vis–vis intolerance, Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan came under withering fire from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary Kailash Vijaywargiya who wondered,” why this sentiment did not come to the film star’s mind at the time of the Mumbai and Bengaluru blasts besides the attack on Parliament etc.”

Writing on social media, the saffron party leader described Khan as one among self-styled conscience-keepers.

During a programme on his birthday, the actor said intolerance was spiralling in the country and people are speaking sans prior thought.
