Shotgun Blames Bihar BJP Leaders For Crushing Defeat

Clinching the opportunity to slam BJP leaders for keeping him sidelined during the entire campaigning for Bihar polls, cine star and BJP MP Shatrughna Sinha today blamed Bihar leaders for the party’s crushing defeat.

Sinha told media persons here that the crushing defeat of the BJP was result of wrong feedback given to central leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah. “There was no need for the Prime Minister to address 40 rallies even in small villages of the state, as over exposure of the supreme leader boomeranged,” he noted.

“I was prepared to campaign for the party but my programme was not approved due to negative attitude of the state party leaders,” Sinha said, adding that the people of Bihar were angered over the fact that their own Bihari Babu was ignored.

Sinha, affectionately called Bihari Babu, said that the central leadership would also have to take responsibility for the defeat.When asked about demand for disciplinary action by a party leader against him, he said he had done nothing wrong which could attract such action. The BJP suffered humiliating defeat in Delhi assembly elections, but no one was sacked, he quipped
