Six persons killed in Road accident in Rayagada, Odisha

At least six people, including two children, were killed and five injured, some critically, when an auto-rickshaw in which they were travelling was hit by a truck near Kotapeta village in Rayagada district Tuesday .
According to Rayagada Police, all the six died on the spot and the injured were rushed to the Rayagada district headquarters hospital where the condition of some was stated to be critical.

The mishap took place when the villagers from Gadisahkhal were going to Kotapeta village to attend a marriage ceremony. The bodies were retrieved from the badly damaged auto-rickshaw and sent for post-mortem.

Soon after the incident irate villagers who blocked the road disrupting the vehicular movement in the area. The Police rushed to the spot to pacify the agitated villagers.
