3 Tigers Die In Eight Days In Pench

Three tigers have been found dead in Madhya Pradeshs Seoni-based Indira Priyadarshini Pench National Park in the past eight days, park sources said.

According to the sources, the carcass of a tiger, aged about 2-3 years, was found at Sank village in Chaurai Block on the Chhindwara Road. Prima facie, the tiger is suspected to have died due to electrocution.

Meanwhile, the death of three tigers in the past eight days has raised questions over the park management. Earlier, a tiger drowned when he fell in a well at Simaria village on January 2.

Two days later, the carcass of a tiger was found from Devalapar Forest Circle in Maharashtra.

However, the parks Regional Director Shubhranjan Sen said the deaths did not occur in Seoni. Therefore, it was not possible to provide information
