PM Slams Opposition For Disrupting Parliament Repeatedly; Inaugurates Brahamputra Cracker & Polymer Ltd

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Friday addressed a BJP rally at Moran near Dibrugarh in Assam.

Addressing the gathering Modi said that, the nation cannot go ahead without the development of the North Eastern Region and in this regard the centre has taken up several initiative to reach the goal. He said that the centre will take every possible step for the betterment of the North East and its’ people.

The Prime Minister also mentioned that several steps have been taken up in the sectors like infrastructure, health and education. While commenting on the various schemes started by the BJP led government, he urged upon the people to reap the maximum benefit out of those schemes.

While criticizing the opposition parties in disrupting the parliament session repeatedly, Prime Minister slammed one particular opposition party without naming it, for this act and says these sort of behavior in parliamentary affairs is quite detrimental for the speedy development of the nation.

He also says that, the fear and agony of losing ground in the last parliamentary election, this party tends to hamper the development initiatives by disrupting proceedings of the parliament so that the present government cannot attain its’ goal within the shortest possible time.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that eastern parts of the country must develop, for the all-round development of India. In this context, he said the Central Government is paying special attention to the North-Eastern region by boosting infrastructure and connectivity.

He was speaking after inaugurating Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited, a petrochemical complex, at Lepetkata, near Dibrugarh in Assam. He also dedicated to the nation, the wax plant of Numaligarh Refineries Limited.

Modi said that the two projects being dedicated to the nation today, are important for two reasons, for the value addition they would achieve for natural raw materials and for the employment opportunities they would create for the youth of Assam .
