MK Sinha appointed Secretary (Security), Cabinet Secretariat

Senior police officer Malay Kumar Sinha has been appointed as the Secretary (Security), Cabinet Secretariat.

Sinha has been appointed in place of Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, who was holding the additional charge of the post, a statement from the Department of Personnel and Training said here today.

Sinha is an IPS officer of the 1981 batch from Uttar Pradesh cadre.He is currently Special Director of the Intelligence Bureau (IB).
