Bihar CM Nitish Kumar To Hold One Day Fast Protesting Land Acquisition Bill

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced one-day fast and asked people across the state to join him in protest against the Land Acquisition Amendment Bill.

Addressing thousands of party workers at the Gandhi Maidan in Patna Sunday, the Janata Dal-United leader described the Bill as a black law, which was against the interests of farmers. He, however, did not announce the date of the fast.
