Jaitley, Amit Shah to visit Jaya at Apollo hospital tomorrow

High profile BJP leaders Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Party National President Amit Shah would be visiting AIADMK Supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa who was undergoing treatment at the Apollo Hospitals here.

BJP sources told UNI today that both the leaders would come together from New Delhi at around 1500 hrs.

Upon landing at the airport here, they would drive down straight to the Hospital where they would meet the doctors and enquire about the health condition of Ms Jayalalithaa.

Mr Jaitley and Mr Amit Shah would also enquire about the treatment being given to her.
After visiting her at the hospital, the two leaders wouldleave for New Delhi immediately.
They have no other functions in the city.

Mr Jaitley and Mr Amit Shah would be the second National leaders to visit Ms Jayalalithaa at the hospital, after Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi, sprang a surprise and made an unscheduled visit to the hospital and enquired about the health condition of Ms Jayalalithaa on October seven. Mr Gandhi spent about 40 minutes at the hospital during which the panel of doctors explained in detail on the nature of treatment being provided to Ms Jayalalitha. The Congress Vice-President later told reporters that ”the Chief Minister is improving and she will become alright soon”. He said he came from New Delhi to express Congress’ support and his and the wishes of AICC President Sonia Gandhi to her.
