Nation offers tributes to former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on his 85th birth anniversary Saturday.

Born on this day in 1931, in Rameswaram, He was named the ‘Missile Man’ of India for his contributions in the field of defence research.

As a tribute to Dr. Kalam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a tweet message said that the former President was a person who captured the imagination of every Indian.
