PM attends Diwali Milan function at BJP headquarters in Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Thursday attended Diwali Milan function at BJP headquarters in New Delhi

Speaking on the occasion, Modi appreciated the role of media in creating a constructive thinking in the country.

Modi urged media to give a fillip to healthy debate and discussion. He said, cleanliness should become part of social behaviour.

Modi also lauded competition among the states on cleanliness. He also wished that political parties will begin a debate on simultaneous holding of elections for Lok Sabha and State Assembly polls.

Party President Amit Shah and other leaders joined the event. Several senior journalist also attended the function.
