Manipur Reports First Swine Flu case

The first death due to swine flu has been reported in Manipur Wednesday at the state capital Imphal.

Sources from the Shija Hospital at Imphal said that one swine flu patient breathed her last at around six Wednesday morning. She was undergoing treatment at the private hospital for the last two weeks.

The sources further said that one 11-year old boy suspected to be affected by the dreaded disease, also died this morning. He, however, said that his swap report to confirm whether he was infected by Swine flu or not, is awaited.
