CBI Conducts Search Operation At Delhi , Mumbai In Confidential Document Leak Case

The CBI is carrying out searches at Delhi and Mumbai in connection with the alleged case of leakage and sale of confidential government documents relating to foreign investment.

Official sources said that searches are on at six places in Delhi and two places in Mumbai.

Documents were allegedly sold by some government official to a Mumbai-based Chartered Accountant, CA, who in turn passed them on to various corporate houses.

Sources say around Rs 60 lakh in cash were recovered from the residence and office of the CA. Three persons including the CA have been detained in the case so far.
