AICC ST dept renamed ‘Adivasi Congress’, Kishore Chandra Deo made its chairman

The Congress today renamed its ST Department as ‘Adivasi Congress’ with senior leader V Kishore Chandra Deo being made its chairman.

According to AICC general secretary janardhan Dwivedi,”the Congress president Sonia Gandhi has approved the suggestion to change the name of the ST Department as ‘Adivasi Congress’. Henceforth,the Department will be know by this name only.”

The Congress president also approved reconstitution of the department with Mr V Kishore Chandra Deo being made its chairman and Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya, Shyam Sunder Hansdah, Bellaih Naik, Manoj Mandvi and Atuwa Munda being made its Vice-chairmen, Dwivedi said.
