National Panthers Party Threatens Agitation Against J&K Govt’s Policy On ASPA

The Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party in Jammu and Kashmir Tuesday threatened agitation against the State Government’s policy on the Armed Special Powers Act and Delimitation.

Panthers Party Chief Patron Bhim Singh condemned the BJP-PDP government for adding to the terror in the State which was already under security threat by the terrorists.

He said withdrawal of Army from Bani area of Kathua District smacks conspiracy that a district struck with terror has been made soft for the terrorists by the anti-national policy of Modi Government.

Prof Singh said the delimitation of the Assembly constituencies must be held immediately and the Civil Secretariat should function around the year both in Srinagar as well as in Jammu.

He alleged that BJP had sold out the interest of the people of Jammu to PDP just for the sake of power and surrendered to PDP even the security of the state.

The NPP supremo also demanded implementation of Supreme Court direction to provide full relief to the Jammu migrants including those camping in Talwara without any delay.

He warned that the JKNPP would launch a civil disobedience movement in the State for the reorganization of the State and amendment in Article 370. The JKNPP leader appealed to the citizens to preserve communal harmony for seeking ultimate justice for all
