People Can Book Train Tickets 4 Months in Advance From Today

People will now be able to book their train tickets four months in advance from today, April 1.

The Railways has increased the Advance Reservation Period for booking the tickets from 60 to 120 days.

An official release said, there will, however, be no change in case of certain day time Express trains like Taj Express, Gomti Express and other special trains where lower time limits for advance reservations are in force at present.

There will also be no change in case of 360 days limit for foreign tourists. AIR correspondent reports that platform tickets will also become costlier from April 1 , people will have to pay 10 rupees for the ticket instead of five.
