Delhi Police Suspends 3 Lady Police And SI For Alleged Thrashing Of Two SC Women

Delhi Police has suspended its three women police personnel and a sub-inspector for allegedly thrashing two women belonging to scheduled caste.

An enquiry has also been ordered against them after a complaint was lodged. The victims complained that the cops accused them of being involved in a theft case and trashed them Friday.

The victims complained that they had no connection with the theft, which is six-months old, and the cops were trying to frame them.

They alleged that they were beaten up when they resisted. On basis of victims complaint, Delhi Police has filed an FIR under SC/ST Act.
