Centre Releases Over Rs.37,420 Cr To States As First Installment Of 14th FC Award

Centre on Sunday released over Rs. 37,420 crore to various states for 2015-16 as first installment of devolution recommended by the 14th Finance Commission.
According to an official release, Rs. 6735 crore will go to Uttar Pradesh, followed by Bihar with Rs. 3624 crore.
Madhya Pradesh will get Rs. 2835 crores and West Bengal Rs. 2746 crore.
