Madurai railway division initiates novel awareness programmes to motivate people to travel safely during festive season

Madurai, October 18 :

Madurai railway division has initiated novel awareness programmes using mime performances to motivate people to travel safely during the ensuing Navratri and Deepavali festival times.

Mime performances, to the accompaniment of folk instruments like country drums, was held today at the Tirunelveli railway junction in South Tamilnadu.

Demonstrations on the proper way to wash hands, how to wear face masks properly and how to dispose-off used masks safely, were enacted during the awareness programmes.

Madurai railway division safety section officials said that the awareness drive will be held in all the major stations of the division.
