Last phase of Railway Recruitment Exams for various NTPC Graduate, undergraduate posts to commence from 23rd July

Ministry of Railways has said that the 7th and last Phase of Railway Recruitment Exams for various Non-Technical Popular Categories – NTPC Graduate and undergraduate posts will commence from 23rd of this month. It said, the Computer-Based Test, CBT for remaining 2.78 lakh candidates, which got impacted on account of second wave of COVID-19, has now been scheduled on 23rd, 24th, 26th and 31st of July.

With this, 1st stage Computer-Based Test will get completed for all the candidates. The six phases of 1st Stage Computer-Based Test were conducted from 28th December 2020 till 8th April, this year. The Ministry added that the CBT is being held in 76 cities in about 260 centres across country under strict COVID-19 protocol permitting utilization of 50 per cent capacity available at centrs to ensure adequate social distancing. Most of the candidates are allotted centres in their home state.

The Ministry said, where it is not possible to allot within the state, the candidates have been accommodated in the neighbouring state having Rail connectivity. For the candidates scheduled in this phase, the Link for viewing the Exam City and Date and downloading of Free Travelling Authority for SC and ST candidates will be made available on all Railway Recruitment Board websites ten days before the exam.

Downloading of E-Call letters will start four days prior to the exam date. The Ministry said, necessary intimation is also being sent to all those candidates scheduled in the 7th phase to their E-mail and Mobile numbers given in their online Application. Candidates are advised to refer only to the official websites of RRBs for latest s on the recruitment process.

The Ministry said, candidates are advised to strictly follow COVID-related guidelines issued along with the call letter. It said, use of Face Mask is mandatory and candidates will be allowed entry only if wearing a Face Mask and the Face mask shall be worn at all times.
