PV Sindhu wins second title of season, clinches Hylo Open Super 500 crown

In Badminton, Double Olympic Medallist PV Sindhu clinched her second title of the season with a commanding straight-games victory over Denmark’s Line Hojmark Kjærsfeldt in the final of the Hylo Open Super 500 tournament. The former world champion showcased exceptional control and precision in her stroke-play, defeating the world No. 25 and eighth seed 21-12, 21-14 in just 39 minutes.

The triumph earned the world No. 8 Indian 9,200 ranking points, strengthening her bid to qualify for the season-ending BWF World Tour Finals.

Earlier, Second seed Sindhu entered the summit clash with a dominant 6-1 head-to-head record against Kjærsfeldt, whose only victory over the Indian came at the 2025 Sudirman Cup Finals.
