India achieves another milestone in COVID vaccination drive with total vaccination crossing 88 cr mark; Recovery rate reaches 97.83%

India has crossed yet another milestone in the COVID vaccination drive with the total vaccination crossing the 88 crore mark today.
Around 25 per cent of the estimated adult population has been fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Union Health Ministry has termed it as yet another achievement in its fight against COVID-19.

India reported daily new cases less than 20 thousand. More than 18 thousand new cases were reported in the last 24 hours. India’s Active caseload stands at two lakh 82 thousand 520 and it is the lowest in 194 days. Active cases account for less than one per cent of total cases and it is currently at 0.84 per cent, the lowest since March last year.

The Ministry said, the recovery rate is currently at 97.83 per cent, highest since March last year. Over 28 thousand people recovered in the last 24 hours and total recoveries touched three crore 29 lakh 86 thousand 180.
