India expresses grief over demise of former PM of Japan Shinzo Abe

President Ram Nath Kovind has expressed grief over the demise of former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe. In a tweet on Friday, Mr. Kovind said, he was a great statesman and his infectious affability endeared him the world over. He said, it is a tragedy for the whole humanity.
Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu has expressed grief over the demise of former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe. In a tweet on Friday, Mr. Naidu said, he is anguished by the demise of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. He said, Mr. Abe played a crucial role in strengthening India-Japan ties. The Vice President expressed his deepest condolences to Shinzo Abe’s family members and the people of Japan.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also expressed grief over the demise of former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe. In a series of tweets, Mr. Modi said, he is shocked and saddened beyond words at the tragic demise of one of his dearest friends Shinzo Abe. He said, Mr. Abe made an immense contribution to elevating India-Japan relations to the level of a special strategic and global partnership. He said, today, the whole India mourns with Japan and India stands in solidarity with Japan in this difficult moment.
Mr Modi said, as a mark of deepest respect for former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, one-day national mourning shall be observed tomorrow. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid his heartfelt condolences to the family of Shinzo Abe and the Japanese people.
