Record 20 Lakh Beneficiaries Enolled Under PMJJBY , PMSBY In Odisha

Cenral Governent’s three social security schemes, the PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, PM Suraksha Beema Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana , were launched simultaneously at Bhubaneswar,Sambalpur and Berhampur in Odisha Saturday along with other 115 centres all over India.

Union Tribal Affairs Mminister Juel Oram launched the three social security schemes at Sambalpur While Governor SC Jamir Launched the Schemes in Bhubaneswar and Union Tourism and Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma launched the schemes at Berhampur.
The Statelevel function was organized by UCO Bank, the Convenor of the State Level bankers’ Committee (SLBC) .
Addressing the function Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural gas , Dharmendra Pradhan called the three social security schemes as epoch-making and said the schemes would prove as a boon for the people living below poverty line. The new social welfare schemes will help to raise the quality of life of poor
Pradhan informed that so far as many as 20 lakh beneficiaries enrolled themselves under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bimaa Yojana andPradhan mantra Surakhya Bima Yojana in Odisha .

The Bank officials and scheme beneficiaries attended the functions on this occasion.
