IPL -08 : Kings XI Thrash RCB By 22 Runs In 10 Over A Side Match

In IPL Cricket, Kings Eleven Punjab defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 22 runs in a rain-curtailed 10-over a side game in the Indian Premier League Cricket at Mohali Wednesday night.

Axar Patel was the man of the Match for his 15 ball 20 and 2-0-11-2 .

For Punjab, which is already out of the contention of a play-offs berth, it was only their 3rd victory in 13 games, while for Bangalore, it was their 5 defeat.

Sent in to bat, Punjab first made 106 for 6 in the allotted 10 overs courtesy opener Wriddhiman Saha’s 12-ball 31 and Axar Patel’s end-of-innings 20 not out. They, then, restricted Bangalore to 84 for 6 in their 10 overs. Axar Patel and Anureet Singh bagged 2 wickets each. Axar was named man of the match for his all-round performance.

Today, Mumbai Indians will lock horns with Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The match will be played at 8 PM.
