All Central Univs to hoist 207-ft high Tricolour

Vice Chancellors of 46 Central Universities today decided to have the national flag prominently in their respective varsities.

This was decided at a conference of VCs, chaired by Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani Specific measurement of the Tricolour was also detailed.

The flag will be hoisted on a 207 feet high mast. The move is being seen as a step to instill patriotic fervour among students and the youth at large.
