Amitabh congratulates Jaya on getting ‘Best Parliamentarian’ Award

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan congratulated his wife, actress-turned-MP, Jaya after being felicitated with ‘Best Parliamentarian Award’ by the Central government in Delhi Thursday.

“Best Parliamentarian Award to Jaya… A proud moment for all of us in the family…” Bachchan tweeted.

Bachchan also lauded Jaya for her commitment and sincere participation as a MP.

“Work done with conviction and honesty does not require any elaborate fanfare, beating of chests or self-complimentary brandishing… The work speaks… And those that value it, notice it,” the thespian wrote.
