Anna Hazare Accuses PM Modi Of Misleading Farmers On Land Bill

Social activist Anna Hazare has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allegedly misleading farmers on land acquisition Bill.

The Anti-corruption crusader Sunday took on Mr Modi for his remarks on the bill, saying that the Prime Minister was looking at the world through coloured glasses.

Hazare, who was in Jalandhar to attend the Shaeed Parivar Fund function, said the bill is not going to benefit farmers but the big corporate.

He said, the government is tweaking the law to benefit the corporates and bring ‘achhe din’ for them.

He even claimed that he is receiving life-threatening calls from abroad especially from Canada for opposing Land Acquisition Bill proposed by the NDA government at the centre. He said a letter to Maharashtra Police has been given over the threat.
