Arun Jaitely Confers Dada Saheb Phalke Award On Sashsi Kapoor

Veteran actor and filmmaker Shashi Kapoor was conferred the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke.
Information and Broadcasting Minister Arun Jaitley presented the award to him at a function in Mumbai Sunday.
The veteran actor was unable to attend the National Film Award ceremony in Delhi because of his ill-health on the 3rd of this month.
Born in 1938, Shashi Kapoor hit the spotlight at the age of four. Some of his memorable films are Deewar, Kabhie Kabhie, Namak Halal and Kaala Pathar.
He was honoured with Padma Bhushan in 2011.
