Automated umbrellas for galleries in Tirumala: EO

After successfully implementing the concept of Vertical gardens in Tirumala, now Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has set it eyes to provide automated umbrellas for the sake of pilgrims in galleries to shield from inclement weather conditions.

Reviewing with heads of various departments at Annamaiah Bhavanin here today, TTD Executive Officer, D Sambasiva Rao instructed the officials concerned to think of providing some shield or cover to protect pilgrims waiting in galleries of four mada streets from scorching temperatures and rains like the ones used in international tennis tournaments such as Wimbledon.
Dr Rao instructed the vigilance wing to set-up high-end cameras in temple, laddu counters. Later he instructed the engineering wing to complete the works of new Rs.300 queue line, Akshaya kitchen, mass cleaning of rooms on a fast pace as summer vacation is fast approaching.

The EO also directed the concerned heads to come out with action plan in solid waste management.

Tirumala Joint Executive officer KS Sreenivasa Raju, and other officers were also present.

Later, the EO inspected PAC-2, Vaikuntam Gardens and suggested some improvements to concerned heads.
