Bar Bribery Case : HC Puts Stay On Vigilance Court Order Against Former Kerala Minister

The Kerala High Court has stayed the Thrissur Vigilance Court order to register FIR against State former Excise Minister K Babu in bar bribery case today at Kochi for two months.

The Court also directed the investigating authorities to complete the quick verification and submit the report within 10 days. K.Babu had to resign from the Cabinet following the Vigilance Court direction on Saturday last.

Earlier, in November last year , the state Finance Minister K.M. Mani had resigned in the wake of the High Court upholding a vigilance court order for further probe into his alleged involvement the bar bribery case.
