Bhalachandra Nemade to get prestigious Gnanpitha Award-2014

Eminent Marathi litterateur Bhalachandra Nemade has been selected for the prestigious Gnanpith award for the year 2014.
He will be the 50th recipient of the award.

Nemade occupies a unique place in Marathi literature and his hugely celebrated works include novels Kosala and Hindu. He has also been conferred with Padma Shri and Sahitya Academi award.
