BJP demands imposition of President’s rule in Uttrakhand

BJP delegation Saturday met President Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhawan this evening and demanded imposition of President’s rule in Uttarakhand in the wake of a sting video of State Chief Minister.
The video allegedly showing Chief Minister Harish Rawat bargaining with rebel Congress MLAs to support the government during the floor test in the Assembly on 28th of this month.
The delegation was led by Party General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya. Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister and BJP MP Bhagat Singh Koshiyari and Party Secretary Shrikant Sharma was also part of the delegation.
Briefing reporters after the meeting, Mr Vijayvargiya said that now it has been proved from the video that Harish Rawat led government has reduced to minority and it has no moral right to remain in power even for a moment.
