BJP To Hold Kissan Rally In Delhi Today To Counter Opposition Over New Land Bill

The BJP will hold a Kisan rally in the national capital today, Wednesday to counter the opposition over the new Land Acquisition Bill.
The party has decided to reach out to farmers and explain its stand on the Bill. The rally will be addressed by Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, and all Delhi’s BJP MPs are likely to attend the rally.
Talking to reporters, state BJP President Satish Upadhyay said, other parties are misleading the farmers by projecting that the bill is against them. He said that with this rally, the party aims to assure the farmers that their interest has been taken care of.
