Bopanna out of top 20; Sania static at no 7

India’s doubles specialist Rohan Bopanna has slipped three places failing to make among top 20, veteran Leander Paes has dropped one place moving at 50th while in women’s singles Sania remains static at no 7, according to the World Tennis Rankings.
Bopanna who recently made an exit in the very first round of the Barcelona Open failed to remain in top 20 dropping to three places has moved to 21st spot.
Paes had won doubles at Tallahassee ATP Challenger, but crashed out in the second round of the Estoril Open. Paes who dropped one places is now at 50th.
Another Indian doubles pair Divij Sharan and Purav Raja made an exit in the second round of the Estoril Open also dropped one places each.Sharan is at 7th and Purav has slipped to 62nd, while in the singles ranking Ramkumar Ramanathan has improved his ranking moving to 216th spot. Prajnesh Gunneswaran remains static at 269th. Yuki Bhambri has risen to ten places with 273rd ranking.In womens singles ace tennis player Sania Mirza remains firm at 7th spot earning her 6405 points.
