Cabinet Clears Rs.12,646 Cr NH Projects in Five States Including Odisha

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, CCEA, Wednesday gave its approval to six projects under various phases of National Highways Development Project. The projects which are of a total length of 712 kilometres will cost Rs 12,646 crore.

These highway projects are located in the States of West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and Madhya Pradesh. The expenditure to be incurred on these projects will be borne by the Government of India.

All these projects will convert the existing two-laning highway projects into high quality four-laning highway projects thereby catalyzing the economic development of the regions along the corridors of these highways.
