Chhattisgarh Police Arrests Six Hardcore Maoists From Bastar Division

Security forces Tuesday arrested six hardcore Maoists from tribal Bastar division of Chhattisgarh .

One of the arrested Maoist was carrying a reward of Rs. 8 lakh while another carrying a reward of Rs. 5 lakh on his head.

Police claimed that these Maoists were involved in Jheeram ghati attack in which more than 30 persons were killed. Police have arrested these Maoists from Dantewada district.

Meanwhile, Maoists abducted a police constable from Bijapur district. This constable is posted in Avapalli police station. Maoists abducted him when he was going from Bijapur to Avapalli.
