Dalai Lama donates Rs 10 lakh to Kerala CM’s Relief Fund

Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama has donated Rs 10 lakh to the Relief Fund of the Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy as a contribution to the relief effort of the State Government to help the victims of fireworks explosion which claimed the lives of 112 people.

In a letter to Oommen Chandy, the Dalai Lama expressed deep sorrow at the loss of life and property in the fireworks explosion that occurred at the Puttingal temple in Kollam district of Kerala on Sunday last.
