Dayashankar challenges Mayawati to contest against his wife Swati

After released from the Mau district jail Sunday, expelled Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dayashankar Singh challenged Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati to contest next Uttar Pradesh assembly election against his wife Swati Singh from any general seat.

Addressing mediapersons here, Singh said ” I want to start from where I had left. I will again say that Mayawati sells tickets. I was only guilty of presenting a wrong example”. He said he regretted that he used wrong example but his intentions were not wrong. He just wanted to convey that Ms Mayawati was selling thoughts of Baba Saheb and Kashiram. “Mayawati has no concern for Dalits and their issues. She needs only money. ”

He further quoted that ” her brother and other BSP leaders like Nasimuddin Siddiqui and S C Mishra have assets worth thousands of crores” About derogatory comments used against his family, Singh said ”the UP government was searching me like they were searching for a mafia but when BSP leaders like Nasimuddin committed the same crime, police and administration did nothing against them.”

Singh said, ” I was expelled from party and went to jail for what I did. But no action has been taken against the culprit BSP leaders yet”.About his expulsion from BJP, Mr Singh said thr party has expelled him but he is always with BJP.

” I had done wrong so party took that action. Party will reconsider and take decision about my re-entry”. Singh said that he will go to the court and will protest if the UP government does not take any action against BSP leaders who used derogatory language against his family.
