Delhi Govt To Regularise Unauthorised Colonies In NCR

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Sunday said that his government has decided to regularise all unauthorised colonies in the national capital.

Addressing a rally at Karawal Nagar area of the city this evening, Kejriwal said that, the mapping exercise of 895 unauthorised colonies will be completed in one year and after that residents of these colonies could get their properties registered.

He said, the government will also provide basic facilities including water, sewer and roads in them. He also assured to provide pucca houses to those people living in slum areas.

On the issue of scarcity of water in summer season, the Chief Minister said, his government has chalked out a plan to meet the situation assuring that there will be no shortage of water in the city.

Kejriwal also said, the government will not allow the prices of onion and potato to go up in the summer season and a scheme will soon be unveiled to provide the vegetables on reasonable rates.
