Delhi Govt. To Set Up 1,000 Aam Aadmi Mohalla Clincs

Delhi government has earmarked Rs. 209 crore for setting-up 1,000 Aam Aadmi Mohalla Clinics to provide health care facilities in the city.
The decision to allocate funds was taken at a Cabinet meeting of Delhi government.
An official release said, in the clinics,basic medical care facilities based on standard treatment protocols will be provided and the usual timing will be from 8 AM to 2 PM.
Some Mohalla Clinics may be run in evening shifts.
Every Mohalla Clinic will be linked to the Poly clinics for logistical support and for referral of patients needing specialist care.
