Delhi Polls : AAP snubs Bukhari , declines support

Aam Aadmi Party Friday distanced itself from the support of Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid Syed Ahmed Bukhari in the Delhi Assembly elections.
Talking to newsmen in New Delhi, party leader Sanjay Singh said that AAP does not share the ideology of Imam Bukhari.

In his reaction, senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley said, the correct answer to such fatwas is that those who are opposed to them should vote in large numbers.
The Sahi Imam of Jama Masjid , Bukhari had appealed to Muslims to vote for AAP for the Saturday’s Delhi polls.
Muslims accounts for over 11 per cent of Delhi’s nearly 17 million population.
