Dravid to mentor Delhi Daredevils in IPL 2016

IPL franchise Delhi Daredevils today named batting legend Rahul Dravid as the mentor and Paddy Upton as the coach for the upcoming edition of the cash-rich league.Speaking on the occasion, the former Indian skipper said he was excited to join the team because they had brought together a young and impressive squad.

“I’m excited to work with Delhi Daredevils. They have a young squad for the seasons ahead. I am looking forward to working with Paddy and the rest of the support staff,” Dravid told mediapersons here.”I am now looking forward to building the same memories with Delhi Daredevils. I have always admired the way they have worked and I am looking forward to add to that group,” he added.

Dravid was previously the mentor of Rajasthan Royals, a franchise which has been suspended for two years from IPL along with Chennai Super Kings.
