Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Reviews Preparations for Re-NEET Exam at NTA Headquarters

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan visited the National Testing Agency (NTA) headquarters and reviewed preparations for the re-NEET exam which is going to be held on 21st of June.

Talking to reporters outside NTA headquarters in New Delhi on Tuesday, the Minister said that the Centre has ensured that all necessary measures are being taken while maintaining complete confidentiality, from the preparation of the question papers to all subsequent procedures. Mr Pradhan said this includes ensuring that examination materials reach the examination centers accurately and on time.

He said that the Government is actively coordinating with States to prevent lapses and shortcomings. Mr Pradhan said that it has engaged all cyber protection resources, including those from the Intelligence Bureau and Central Bureau of Investigation, to tackle challenges involved in the process.

Speaking about the alleged NEET paper leak case, Mr Pradhan said that the investigation into this matter is currently underway. The Minister said that CBI is looking into the matter and assured that strict action will be taken against those involved in the paper leak case. He added, the case will be fast-tracked, and the culprits will be given exemplary punishment.
