Expelled BSP leader Swamy Prasad Maurya joins BJP

Expelled BSP leader Swamy Prasad Maurya today joined the BJP, accompanied by hundreds of his supporters at the party headquarters here.

Maurya, four times MLA, was inducted into saffron party by UP state president Keshav Prasad Maurya.

BJP chief Amit Shah and UP BJP in-charge Om Mathur was also present during the occasion. Maurya, who was till recently Leader of Opposition in the UP Assembly, before he was expelled for alleged anti party activities, also felicitated Shah.
