Five persons killed in Lightening in Bihar

At least five persons, including two children, were killed when lightning struck at different places in Madhepura district in Bihar on Sunday.

Sub-Divisional Officer of Udakishunganj, Dipak Kumar Sahu said, a child died after being fatally struck by lightning in Madaspur Basa village, while another boy died because of similar reasons in Budhma village.

He said, lightning claimed the lives of two persons, one each in Phulauth (East) and Phulauth (West) villages.

A woman suffered a fatal cardiac arrest in Ramganj village, the SDO added.
