Former Bihar CM Jitan Ram Manjhi Floats New Political Outfit

Former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi Saturday has launched a new front Hindustani Awam Morcha, (HAM ) to counter Nitish Kumar’s JDU.

Addressing his supporters in Patna, Manjhi vowed to follow Arvind Kejriwal’s model in Bihar and fight for welfare for marginalised sections of society.

He said, his front HAM will grow bigger than the Kejriwal-led AAP.

Manjhi refuted speculations that he is about to ally with the BJP.
The front is seen as an attempt for political awakening of Dalits as a unified pressure group which could transcend cast barriers to emerge as a vital formation before Assembly elections due in November this year.
