Former Bihar CM Jitan Ram Manji And Family Gets Threat To Life

Former Biahr Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi Monday claimed that about 3-4 days ago he and his family members have received threat to their lives.

“I have confirmed information that 3-4 days ago, I had received athreat and I myself and my family would be killed,” he said, whileaddressing a public meeting at Zila School ground here Monday .

He urged the concerned authorities to take immediate measure toexpose the conspiracy and provide him foolproof security. The threat gains importance in the backdrop of the ongoing clash of Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) with his estranged JD (U) colleagues with frequent trading of charges and counter-charges.

Manjhi claimed that no development worth the name had taken place in Bihar since he demitted office.

He urged Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to implement the 34 decisions he had taken in the last 12 days of his regime, contending they were all aimed at benefiting the downtrodden and deprived sections.”They are all implementable,” he asserted.

Referring to the washing and purification of the statue of great socialist leader Ram Manohar Lohia in Supaul by some RJD workers Monday , which he had garlanded yesterday. The former chief minister demanded action against the perpetrators.

“The incident clearly shows what kind of ideology the RJD and JD (U) are following,” he noted.

Manjhi appealed to the masses to come in large numbers to the Gandhi Maidan, where HAM is holding a rally on April 20 to announce its future course of action.”Please ensure that April 20 rally is a huge success,” he added
