Former Odisha MLA Dayanidhi Kissan passes away

The former MLA from Bonai in Sundergarah disitrict ,Dayanidhi Kissan 64 ,passed away Tuesday .
Kissan who was admitted in the Ispat General Hospital, Rourkela in the morning succumbed to the injury sustained following a fall from the third floor of his house in Chhend.
Kissan was a BJP MLA in the state assembly from 2000 to 2004 . He later joined BJD and was appointed as the Chairman of Rourkela Development Authority.
A veteran tribal leader and social activist ,Kissan had formed “Kissan Samaj”, an organization to fight for the socio-economic development of the community.
The Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram, Rourkela BJP MLA, Dillip Ray , Rajya Sabha Member Dillip Tirkey ,fomer Rourkela MLA Sarada Nayak condoled the death of Kissan.
