Goa CB Summons Fabindia CEO, MD For Investigation In Voyeurism Case

The Goa Police has summoned two top officials of Fabindia tomorrow in connection with the voyeurism case.

The state crime branch has asked Fabindia’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director to remain present for the investigation.

Union Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani who had visited a Fabindia store in Panaji last week, alleged that the store had a CCTV camera focusing at the trial room.

Four employees of the store were arrested and booked by the police under various sections. However, they were later granted bail by a local court.

Fabindia has denied that it had placed hidden cameras in any of its stores. Meanwhile a local court today granted anticipatory bail to Fabindia Candolim store manager Chaitrali Sawant in the case.
